Nigerian digital content creator Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie professionally known as Brain Jotter has given his 2kobo advise on the need for one to move on after a failed relationship rather than seeking for revenge.
He narrated how a girl jilted him, out of pain, he prayed that the girl will never find a good man like him. However everything turned out to be the opposite of his prayer. As his former girlfriend not only found a good man who took her to the United States, but they built a fortune together.
His words:
“A girl I once loved left me for a richer man. Out of pain, I told her she would never find someone like me again.
“A few years later, I found out she had moved to the United States, got married to a more handsome man, and they were doing very well. Their children are American citizens, and they even own a successful company.
“That’s when I realized something important in life: people will hurt you and still move on without consequences. Don’t sit around hoping something bad will happen to them – it won’t change anything.
“That friend who no longer has time for you because they’ve made money will likely keep progressing. So instead of focusing on others, focus on yourself. Get up, work hard, and build your own life.
“Nothing will happen to someone just because they refused to help you”, he advised.
