Few days ago, actress Laide Bakare called out her colleague and politician Eniola Badmus, for denigrating and disparaging her, on a number of occasions in the public.

However, Eniola Badmus has  quickly responded, asking for forgiveness from her senior colleague.

This apology is coming after years of feud between the two friends, whom reports have it attended the same University of Ibadan, in Oyo state.

Apologising via her social media handle, Badmus admitted  that her reaction during the interview with podcaster Isbae U, when Bakare’s name was mentioned, was wrongly interpreted. Eniola said, she will rather choose peace than to continue her feud with Laide Bakare

Her words:
“On reflection, I realise my reaction when Laide Bakare’s name was mentioned during my recent interview could have come across as dismissive, and for that, I sincerely apologise,”

Badmus said, she has grown and learnt from her past mistakes and so, she chose to handle things with   maturity so that both of them can move forward.

“Laide, whatever our differences, I choose peace and I genuinely wish you well.

“We’re all growing, learning and becoming better versions of ourselves. Sometimes maturity is simply knowing when to let go and move forward,” she added.

Badmus further added that there should be an end to negative energy and grudges as  she would allow  love to lead them.

“Joo maa binu. No negativity. No grudges. Let love lead and peace reign,”

You will recall that Eniola had  during a recent interview with Isbae U, had hissed, with a changed facial expression after the  the host had mentioned Laide Bakare as one of his favorite actresses.

This did not go down well with Laide  Bakare who complained openly about how Eniola has openly disrespected her even in the past, despite being her benefactor at some point.
