The talk about the “Big 3” in the Nigerian music industry which includes: Davido, Burna Boy and Whizkid, has continued to cause controversy in the industry as Nigerian rapper Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike, known professionally as Phyno has bared his mind in the ongoing debate.
During a podcast interview on the ongoing debate about the “Big 3′ in the Nigerian music industry, with host Divine, on UrbanRadio945, the rapper weighed in on the controversy that has been revolving round the topic. When asked if he is qualified to be included in the list of the “Big 3”.
He responded:
“Does my feeling matter? The question is, who is the big 3? Different big three to different people,”
As far as he is concerned, an individual artiste’s relevance depends on his fan base and their preferences.
“I know people that I am their all 1,2,3, to them. I am big 3 to a lot of people. I do what I do and I’m still here,” he added.
