In the spirit of the season, the leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations – Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has put smiles on the faces of the elderly in the church known as the old testament group.
Presenting a cash gift, including clothing materials, two bags of rice and mosquito nets to each of the beneficiary, she said the gesture is a continuation of the legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, who has always given special attention to the elderly.
Pastor Joshua advised christians to encourage the elderly ones around them by taking care of them. She noted that it’s important to take care of them so that they will not miss their salvation journey.
The SCOAN leader added that growing old is a privilege that we should be grateful to experience.
She also revealed that the gesture is in partnership with the Emmanuel TV partners.
A representative of the elderly Madam Agnes Ede, thanked the SCOAN leader and the Emmanuel TV partners, for the gesture and prayed that God will empower her the more. While she also prayed that the generation to come will enjoy the ministry more.
Pa Ogunlade John, who also spoke on behalf of the old testament members said, the elderly are always praying for Emmanuel TV partners. He also prayed for the SCOAN leader and asked God to continue to fight her battle, just like He did for his servant Prophet TB Joshua.
In the meantime, the SCOAN leader, has urged those planning to celebrate her birthday on the 17th of December, to do so with the needy and the less privilege. Pastor Evelyn Joshua said, she only celebrates her birthday every five years which means, the next elaborate birthday will be when she turns 60 years.
