Minister Musawa Commiserates with Arise Media Group over Tragic Loss of Sommie Maduagwu

The Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, extends her heartfelt condolences to the management and staff of Arise News following the tragic passing of its esteemed reporter Sommie Maduagwu.

Minister Musawa expresses her deep sadness over the loss of the 29-year old news anchor and producer, describing her death as a shock to the media community. She prayed for the repose of Sommie’s soul and comfort for her family, colleagues, and friends during this difficult time.

The Minister also commiserates with the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Arise Media Group, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, and the entire Arise News family, acknowledging the significant contribution Sommie made to the organization.
