Actress Nkechi Blessing, has been receiving messages since she lost out a celebrity boxing bout to former BBN winner Phyna, in the bout titled “Chaos in the Ring”
The actresss and movie producer said, one of the messages that really touched her came from one Minister Mike Ran Mi Lowo.
According to the message from minister Lowo, he said, before the bout, he disliked Blessing Sunday for no reason, but after the fight, he respected her for her bravery in taking up the challenge.
Mike Lowo wrote:
“Stepping into that ring takes a level of bravery and heart that very few people possess. Seeing you out there made me realize how naive and wrong I was to judge you without knowing the depth of your strength. You showed the spirit of a true warrior, and you earned my ultimate respect last night”.
Blessing Sunday said Lowo’s message really touched her because over the years, she has presented herself in bad light to which she is taking responsibility. Blessing added that because of character, a lot people hated her, but behind this, is a woman who will do anything to survive.
She explains more:
“For years, I have presented myself in a very bad state in the eyes of the public, that which I take full responsibility. So many people disliked me for my acts, misconduct. drama and constant notoriety. But behind the online shenanigans is a woman who will do anything to survive in the kind of country she finds herself.
A woman who stands for herself and refused to be bullied into silence. I am still not seeking validation, neither am I asking to be liked by all. I am simply saying if you get to know me outside this social space, on my mothers grave your perception about me will change at first meeting, but sadly not everyone will get to experience me and that is very okay!!!!
