Nollywood actress Angela Okorie, has given her 2kobo thought on the efficacy of prayers. She said, a lot of people make mistakes pausing on their prayer lives by depending on their past prayers.
Known as the legit queen, Angela noted that effective prayer life comes with consistent prayers because prayer is an investment. For her, many people believe in the efficacy of prayer but not many people pray.
She wrote:
” Make investment in prayer! We cannot run our lives and our spiritual operations on the prayers of past generations. Many people believe in the efficacy of prayer but not many people pray.
“The only way to learn how to pray is by praying. Every moment of prayer is an investment in eternity and true prayer is a romance with divinity! A praying man is not afraid of anything because he knows he has everything under control on his knees.
” What prayer does in you is far greater than the thing you are praying for or what you’re praying about. Live in an attitude of prayer; let your prayer nourish your soul as your meals nourish your body. Don’t play away your prayer time, it’s a season, and it’ll not always be there”.
