Beautiful nollywood actress Amarachi Gidimbah, has described the unfortunate events that happened around the country in the past few days as scary and a nightmare
Writing on her Instagram handle, the actress said: “Being a Nigerian feels like watching a midnight horror movie all alone in a big house, Everyday we hear different tragic, horrific stories, yet no news of hope of redemption, the citizens are scared.
“Now my question is, why are our leaders not scared ? Why do they act like they are exceptions to this horrors ? Why do they act like nothing is happening?
The actress say she might be weighing the option of leaving the country just like a friend has suggested. But, if she leaves, what of her other relatives. For her, everybody is now on their own in this country.
” Somebody was telling me, Amah, the best thing is ‘Japa’, Truthfully that seems like the only option because our dear Nigeria survival has truly become a race of ‘you are on your own’. But what about my other family, friends and relatives who might not afford to Japa?
“A country as prayerful and religious as Nigeria, yet all this? Why has the heart of a man become so evil, Why does our cry not touch you Mr President. Your people are dieiiiiig, Your country is bleeding”, she lamented.
