CIG set to host the 3rd edition of anti drug abuse

The Creative Industry Group, CIG, headed by veteran musician Ambassador Felix Duke, is set to host it’s annual awareness program on the effect of drug abuse .

Tagged: Anti Drug Abuse Conference 3.0, it brings together students and young people under one roof, where they are informed, educated and enlightened about the devastating effect of drug abuse on their health, career and future.

The event which is in its third edition brings together entertainment celebrities, business entrepreneurs and other stakeholders, who educate the students on some of the harmful effects of drugs and in addition, mentor them on practical things that can help them in future.

This year’s event is in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Special guest of honour will be Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo Olu, first lady, Lagos state .

Other special guests include:
Mr Idris Aregbe. Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts & Culture and
AIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla. AIG in Charge of FCID Annex Alagbon Lago

Key note speakers include: Gen Buba Marwa,(rtd) NDLEA chairman. Others include: Mrs Adebopo Oyekan Ismaila, Permanent Secretary Lagos state Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture,
Prince Bisi Olatilo, CEO Biscon TV, veteran movie producer and director Zeb Ejiro, Paul Obazele, Patrick Doyle and Otunba Soji Odedina .

The event is billed for 25th November 2025 and will take place at De Orange Event Centre, Suco Bus Stop, Abattoir, Agege, Lagos by 10:am.

According to CIG President Amb Duke, it’s important the society start early to win the war against drug abuse by starting with the young ones especially the students who are the most vulnerable.

The event will feature other side attraction like music and comedy
