The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio and his wife, Dr (Mrs) Ekaette Unoma Godswill Akpabio joined the family of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno at the one-year memorial service in honor of his late wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, held at All Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket, Akwa Ibom State on September 26, 2025.
Senator Akpabio paid glowing tributes to the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State as a humble woman who worked for the unity of the State. He urged the family to take solace that she had left great impact and lasting legacies which would stand in her honour.
Other dignitaries in attendance included the Governor of Imo State, and the Chairman Progressives Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodinma, wives of Governors led by the Wife of the Governor of Lagos State, Dr (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, some Deputy Governors, Senators and Members, House of Representatives, Top Government Officials, Traditional Rulers, Church Leaders and other well wishers.
