Thousands of Galatasaray fans trooped out yesterday to welcome their new found hero, Victor Osimhen, at Instabul, Turkey, during his official unveiling by the club. This is coming after a long drawn negotiation between his former Italian club, Napoli and the current Turkish champions Galatasaray.
The Turkish giant completed the 75m pound deal from Napoli, which saw the Super Eagles player moving on a permanent deal.
With the completion of the deal, the former African footballer of the year has smashed the all time records of the most expensive player in Turkish football history smashing the previous Süper Lig transfer record set at €19.5M
In another development, Galatasaray commentator Uğur Karakullukçu has reported that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is demanding a salary equivalent to that of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray.
