Normalcy in governance may soon return to River State after the suspended Governor, Sim Fubara met with President Tinubu and his predecessor now the FCT Minister Nyesom Nwike for a peace talk.
Though details of the meeting was not disclosed but the two gladiators were seen shaking hands after the meeting indicating that the suspension placed on the elected Governor Sim Fugbara’s government through the declaration of the state of emergency in the state by President Tinubu will soon be lifted.
Reconciliation efforts between Governor Fugbara, Nyesom Wike and members of the State House of Assembly are also on going.
Governor Fugbara and his predecessor Nyesom Nwike have been at loggerheads over the soul of River State which led to the declaration of State of Emergency on the State by President Tinubu more than six months ago.
