Veteran Nigerian galala singer John Asiemo, professionally known as Daddy Showkey, is set to bring Lagos to a stand still: come August 9, 2026, at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, as he marks the golden age of 50 on stage.
The event tagged ‘Celebrating 5 Decades of Culture, Resilience And Music’ is expected to attract an array of stars that will perform that day.
They include singers Tubaba, KCee, Oritsefemi, African China, King Saheed Osupa, Danfodriver, Marvelous Benjy and Tony Tetuila among many others
According to Daddy Showkey: “The journey continues! I specially invite you to celebrate 50 Years on Stage with me at the Daddy Showkey! The Journey an unforgettable night of music, culture, and the Ghetto spirit.
“Come celebrate 50 years of music, memories, and the Ghetto legacy with me”, he added.
