While the famous Blackhouse Theatre was on stage performing AFONJA, at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the former president Olusegun Obasanjo was ushered in dancing.
His majestic dance steps blended with that of the performers would make anyone believe he was part of the cast. Towering cheers of “Obj, Obj, Obj” rented the hall and he moved with his dancing steps.
His surprise entry would pass as the climax of one of the sessions of a well attended Rotary District 9112 Annual Conference tagged Elevate DisCon 2026.
Briefly taking a seat by the District Governor Rtn. Lanre Adedoyin, the former president took to the stage to speak to an elated audience. This was followed by a photograph session with the District Governor and key Rotarians of the District which was memorable to say the least.
