Nigeria’ s Independence: Nigeria Is Filled With  Dubious, Wicked People – Chacha Eke

Nollywood actress Chacha Eke, says, Nigerians need to work on their attitude for the country to get the positive change we deserve. The actress made this observation while sharing her thoughts on Nigeria at 65.

The actress noted that Nigerians keep blaming the government for the terrible state of the nation, while appropriate change is supposed to start among them. Adding that there are lots of evil minded people in the country that have destroyed the country because of their back stabbing, covetous character and wicked attitude towards each other.

She reiterated that if Nigerians can fix their heart and family, the country will command a lot of respect from the international community in the next 20 years.

She wrote on her Instagram page, “let’s face the truth, are we really free? She questioned.
The actress noted that instead of pointing accusing finger at the government all the time, we should rather agitate for positive change and this will happen only if Nigerians come together as one with renewed character .

Eke wrote, “We broke colonial chains in 1960, yet poverty still strangles millions. Insecurity isn’t news-it’s our daily nightmare. Our naira is weak and our people are fleeing to foreign lands, desperate for a life they can’t find here.

“The rich get richer while the poor get crushed. Corruption runs deep. Social media? Just a shiny distraction while the rot spreads.

“And here’s the hard truth, nobody wants to say: real change doesn’t start in Abuja or any government office. It starts with us.

“What kind of people make up this country? Wicked. Covetous. Backstabbing. Conniving. Dubious. People who steal, kill, and betray one another. That’s not the government-it’s us.

“We point fingers at the government, but if we don’t clean up our own mess, nothing will change. If every Nigerian fixes their heart and family, in 20 years we’ll have citizens who command respect worldwide.

“Our international passport, now a joke at borders, will be a symbol of pride not shame.

“Stop blaming. Start changing. The revolution begins in your home, in your mind, in your actions.

“Happy 65th, Nigeria. The fire to rebuild this nation? It burns in you”, she stated.
